This Privacy Policy explains how Meridian Intake LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), operating the Meridian Intake intake service (the "Service"), collects, uses, and shares information about you. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. The Service is an automated intake assistant that helps connect people who may have a Social Security Disability (SSDI) claim with independent disability law firms. We do not represent you, and no attorney-client relationship is formed by using the Service.

Information we collect

• Information you provide in the chat. Details you share with the assistant about your situation — for example your medical condition, work history, age, and other facts relevant to whether you may qualify for SSDI benefits.
• Contact information. Your name, phone number, and email address, which we collect only after you consent to be contacted by a disability law firm.
• Technical and referral data. Information collected automatically, such as your IP address, and marketing attribution data (for example, the search keyword or campaign that referred you to the Service).
• Consent records. A record of the consent you provide, including the time and context in which it was given, to document that you agreed to be contacted.

How we use your information

• To assess whether your situation may be a fit for an SSDI claim.
• To connect you with one or more independent disability law firms.
• To document the consent you provided and to comply with applicable laws.
• To operate, secure, and improve the Service, including preventing abuse.

How we share your information

When you consent, we share the information you provided — including your contact details and the facts relevant to your potential claim — with one or more disability law firms or their authorized lead-distribution partners, so that an attorney can evaluate your case and contact you about it.

We also share information with service providers who help us operate the Service (such as hosting, database, and security providers), and we may disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights. We do not sell your information for purposes unrelated to connecting you with a disability law firm.

Consent to be contacted

By providing your contact information and consenting through the Service, you agree that the disability law firms we share your information with, and their representatives, may contact you — including by phone call, text message, and email — about your potential claim, even if your number is on a Do Not Call list. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of any purchase, and you may revoke it at any time by asking the contacting firm to stop or by emailing us at the address below.

Automated assistant

The intake conversation is handled by an automated, AI-powered assistant — not a human and not an attorney. Its responses are for intake purposes only and are not legal advice. We retain a record of the conversation as described in this policy.

Data retention

We retain the information you provide, including your conversation and consent records, for as long as needed to provide the Service, document consent, and comply with our legal obligations, after which we delete or de-identify it. You may request deletion of your information as described below.

Your choices and rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and you may opt out of further contact, by emailing us at privacy@meridianintake.com. Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws; we will honor those rights as required.

Children's privacy

The Service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.

Governing law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
